Radioactives are the raw fuel you use for advanced units and advanced buildings. In a standard skirmish/multiplayer match, players do not begin with any radioactive deposits under their control, and must claim them by expanding into other regions.
The base income of an open radioactives deposit is 0.5 s-1. Additional income can generated by building extractors/harvesters on top of these deposits, building Amplifiers on top of the Power Generators to which the deposits belong, and boosting the Power Generators with global abilities.
